Breeding target and rearing:

The target of my breeding, is to breed healthy, easy-to-train and friendly Border Collies, each one a unicate. The zeal and the impulsion should be saved, for sports or the work with sheeps.

The bitch is housed in a quiet familiar room for birth. The birth and the rearing is under constant observation.

Sounds:
Since the age of 14 days, the puppys will get confronted with some different sounds, which turns louder in the following weeks.

Feeding:
Depending of the litter size and the condition of the mummy, the feeding begins in the 3rd till 4th livingweek. The first 10 meals consisting of pure minced meat, after that the feeding will change to "Hill's for Puppys" and fresh meat. It will prepare the little dogs for both feedingmethods, so they don't have any problems with changing food in their new home.

Puppy Pen:
The moving from puppybed to the puppy pen will happen in the 3rd week. The indoor puppy pen is between the livingroom and the kitchen and got an exit where the puppies can go outdoor, whenever they want. The puppy pen is equipped with many different and interesting things for the embossing on environmental.

Family:
The movement is good for socialising with the other pack members. Since this point, the other pack members got the chance to contact the puppies. (grandparents, uncles & aunts, cats)

Cardriving:
Since the 5th week we are driving regulary by car and visiting different places like the Kindergarten, garden of some friends, the journey to bremen for the CEA-testing and we're driving to the dike, of course!

Jouney to the new home:
Till the big move in the age of 8 weeks, the puppies have experienced very much and i hope it helps to make the move into the new home much easier. The past shows, that they feel the move as a new adventure in their live. They conquer their new home in a few minutes.

  • 4-times vaccinated SHLP / international vaccination

  • Eye-tested CEA (or parents are free)

  • got a Chip
